We are delighted to introduce our exclusive new Hart Performa collection of medical taps.
The range includes extended lever medical basin mixers, pillar taps and kitchen sink mixers all designed to work on any water pressure system including low pressure gravity systems whilst being both WRAS approved and compliant with current NHS/CQC requirements.
Whilst designed primarily for use in medical facilities, these taps will also be suitable for care homes and food industry use.

The control of legionella is of growing concern in hospitals and in particular within the water supply system.
One area of concern centres around the tap aerators where various studies have shown that aerators may be contaminated by gram-negative bacteria.
To help address this issue, we have launched our Clinic Line aerator system developed in conjunction with Neoperl of Switzerland which combats the build up of bacteria on three fronts:

An all too common problem in public washrooms is finding toilets unflushed which quickly leads to other users leaving the toilet in an even worse state.
There is no real excuse for not flushing but sometimes it happens due to an aversion to touching the toilet or cistern.
The new Jollytronic Sensor Flush is an effective solution to this problem that actively encourages better use. It is sensor activated meaning that a simple contactless wave of the hand will activate the flush – encouraging flushing, good hygiene and ensuring that the toilet is kept cleaner.
As such it is an ideal product for all public use washrooms but in particular is suitable for restaurants, hotels and health clubs where appearance is so important.
We recently supplied decontamination sinks to a Chiropody practice looking to install facilities that far exceeded the standards required. In fact the products chosen would have fully met the highest standards for any medical facility undergoing a full CQC inspection but one fact that came out was that there are are only very loose guidelines for handwashing basins and decontamination sinks.
