We are delighted to introduce our exclusive new Hart Performa collection of medical taps.
The range includes extended lever medical basin mixers, pillar taps and kitchen sink mixers all designed to work on any water pressure system including low pressure gravity systems whilst being both WRAS approved and compliant with current NHS/CQC requirements.
Whilst designed primarily for use in medical facilities, these taps will also be suitable for care homes and food industry use.

The control of legionella is of growing concern in hospitals and in particular within the water supply system.
One area of concern centres around the tap aerators where various studies have shown that aerators may be contaminated by gram-negative bacteria.
To help address this issue, we have launched our Clinic Line aerator system developed in conjunction with Neoperl of Switzerland which combats the build up of bacteria on three fronts:

We recently supplied decontamination sinks to a Chiropody practice looking to install facilities that far exceeded the standards required. In fact the products chosen would have fully met the highest standards for any medical facility undergoing a full CQC inspection but one fact that came out was that there are are only very loose guidelines for handwashing basins and decontamination sinks.

Notjusttaps now offers Flexprotect anti-microbial plumbing hoses for use where there are concerns about water borne bacterial infections – Whilst hospitals are the most obvious market (they’ve already been approved by Northern Ireland NHS) , food industry and care homes will also find these products to be an essential fitting as part of good hygiene and infection control.
These Flexprotect hoses incorporate a WRAS approved non EPDM liner which has been laboratory proven to combat MRSA, E-Coli, Legionella & Pseudomonas.
Ease of cleaning and avoidance of dirt traps is the other concern and this has been addressed as these hoses are finished in a wipeable smooth pvc outer coating.
