Celtic Link Ferries

Notjusttaps are delighted to have been selected to supply a portfolio of essential spares for the maintenance of the bathrooms and plumbing systems aboard Celtic Links ‘Celtic Horizon’ – a luxury ferry capable of carrying up to 1000 passengers on its route  between Ireland and France
Spares required included ceramic disk cartridges and quarter turn tap valves together with seals and spares to maintain the wastes outlets on board – In fact the spares schedule covers just about everything needed to deal with any plumbing emergency on board.
As there are 110 cabins, multiple bathrooms and toilets on the ship, it was required that we were able to provide a substantial range of items within a short timescale – something we were able to do due to both the extensive stocks held and our ability to draw on additional supplies from specialist distributors.Celtic link

Knee Operated Taps

knee operated taps

Retailers involved in the preparation and serving of food can reduce the chances of infection and food poisoning by avoiding touching their handwash taps.
This can be achieved in two ways: extended lever taps which can be elbow and wrist operated or by using knee operated taps which totally avoid the need to touch the tap.
The main benefit is that this prevents the passing of germs from one worker to another.

Knee operated taps can be combined with a variety of outlets such us free spouts, and in a non food environment  can prove beneficial for those who have difficulty reaching normal taps such as wheelchair users

Meeting Urgent Delivery Deadlines

dpdMeeting customer delivery deadlines is always important, but it becomes even more so  when it involves the supply of medical products.
Contractors and facility managers are often given short notice with work scheduled over unsocial hours in order to minimise disruption to the health practice. This means it becomes crucial that supply of products and fittings arrives on time.

So it’s good to know that when you’re up against it, Notjusttaps really can make a difference!
Using DPD and APC  delivery services, we can arrange special AM delivery services and even arrange Saturday delivery if needed.
We’ve even arranged for an assisted driver to help unload and unpack a delivery at a Doctors surgery.
We make it our business to deliver when you need it….so at least that’s one less thing to worry about!

Anti-Scald Bathroom Safety

ASVAnti-scald bathroom products have become a legal requirement for many public use sanitary applications.
This is primarily through the fitting of Thermostatic Mixing Valves (TMV2 & TMV3 valves) to either hot taps or to mixer taps to set  a maximum safe temperature – something that is vital particularly when dealing with the elderly and disabled who are more prone to accidental scalding.

Notjusttaps have added to this area with the UK introduction of the ShowerSafe Adaptor.
Brilliant in its’ simplicity, it simply attaches to bath mixer taps or water outlets and prevents burns by shutting off the water supply if the temperature rises over 48°C
It is suitable for any public facility but is particularly relevant to care homes, nursing homes and hospitals.
For commercial customers, there are discounts available for orders of 10 or more.

Taps for Arthritis Sufferers & Disabled Users

easyturn

As part of our special needs division, we have created a range of taps specifically chosen from our medical range to suit users with arthritis, disabled users and those with limited hand movement.
The Taps For Arthritis Sufferers all have extended ‘elbow levers’ at least 15cm long to provide easier movement that can be carried out with minimum effort by hand, wrist or arm.
For absolute peace of mind, these can all be fitted with TMV2 or TMV3 safety blending valves to prevent scalding.

Kerox Tap Cartridges

We often get asked if we do Kerox tap cartridges which are being fitted into a growing number of leading tap brands.
Our range of ceramic disk cartridges includes 25, 35 and 40mm cartridges which are suitable for taps fitted with Kerox K-series cartridges.
They can be found here: Notjusttaps replacement tap cartridges

But as we always say if you’re not sure please call us and we’ll be happy to advise you!

Why Use Notjusttaps For Your Medical Sanitaryware?

medic-line-K45A customer reminded us of a very good reason why he chose Notjusttaps for taps, sinks and fittings for his new surgery in London…
He wanted a supplier able to hold his hand in choosing products and one who was there for long term after sales support.
He called on our help rather quicker than expected when he found that his installation meant that the spout of the tap reached to the edge of the sink, a useable setup but not ideal.
Most suppliers would be unwilling or unable to help but not us; we  organised  special short reach spouts (at no extra cost) that could be retrofitted to each tap without disruption to the plumbing thus solving his problem and a very good illustration why you should use Notjusttaps for your medical use sanitaryware.
